Ordering and logistics

How do I place a catering order?

You can place your order directly online via our Pre-order page – Botanica Real Food.

Simply select your items, choose your pickup location, date, and time, and complete your order in a few clicks.

How much notice do I need to give?

• Salads: Minimum 24 hours’ notice
• Tarts and sweets: Minimum 48 hours’ notice

For large orders or special events, we recommend ordering a few days in advance to ensure availability.

Can I pick up my order from any Botanica store?

Yes. When ordering, please specify your preferred pickup location, date, and time.
We will confirm your order and have it ready for you.

Do you offer delivery?

For substantial orders over $700, we may be able to offer delivery if our drivers are available.

Otherwise, we can sometimes accommodate smaller deliveries for a $60 delivery surcharge, depending on driver availability.

Can I transport the salads outside of Brisbane?

Yes, you can, provided the salads are kept cold during transit in an esky and then placed into a refrigerated environment upon arrival at your destination.

Will the salads last overnight?

Yes, they will. Our salads are made fresh daily and will still be delicious the next day.

However, please keep in mind that they are pre-dressed, so they are at their peak condition on the day of purchase.

What sizes do the salads come in?

• Small: serves 2–3
• Medium: $27, serves 4–6
• Family: $39.50, serves 6–8 as a side

These recommendations are based on generous side portions. If you are serving additional sides such as bread, potatoes, or a green salad, you may wish to size down slightly.

What salad combinations work best for catering?

We suggest a mix of flavours and textures, for example:
• One roasted vegetable salad
• One grain-based salad
• One fresh or raw salad
• One potato salad

Ordering multiples of a few favourites makes serving easier and creates a beautiful table spread.

I am organising a high tea, baby shower, bridal shower or wedding day morning brunch. Do you have suitable options?

Yes. Great options include:
• Whole tarts: $36 each, can be cut into 16 bite-sized portions
• Bundt cakes: $5.50 each, perfect individual portions
• Bar cakes: $7 each, can be cut in half for sharing
• Vegan brownies: $5.80 each, gluten, dairy and egg free, and can be cut into two portions

You can browse tart and sweet flavours online and place your order with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

Can I get a mixed box?

Yes, you can, but this must be arranged directly through the store. Please call your preferred Botanica location to place a mixed box order.

Is there an option for a complete lunch?

Yes. We offer Picnic Packs at $80 each. Each pack includes a whole tart, a medium salad, and four cakes, serving four people. Our chefs select the best options of the day.

What savoury options are available?

We offer whole savoury tarts at $36 each, serving 4–6. Four flavours are available and they can be cut into smaller portions for sharing.

What sweet options are available?

All our sweets are gluten free and individually portioned. Popular choices include:
• Bundt cakes: $5.50 each
• Bar cakes: $7 each
• Vegan brownies: $5.80 each
• Cupcakes or mini cakes

Do you offer sandwiches or wraps?

No. We do not offer sandwiches or wraps, however we have a delicious range of savoury tarts.

Do you offer fruit platters?

We do not offer fruit platters, but we can provide a beautiful selection of salads, tarts and cakes to create a complete and colourful catering spread.

We are organising the meat component, can we just order sides?

Absolutely. Our salads make perfect sides and are available in Small, Medium and Family sizes to suit your group and menu.

Dietary and ingredients

Are your menu items suitable for dietary requirements?

Yes. You can use our online filter to find items that are nut free, dairy free, garlic free and more. Our Vegan Brownies are completely gluten, dairy and egg free, which makes them ideal for mixed dietary needs.

Can I get dressings on the side or make ingredient changes?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide dressings on the side or make ingredient changes. Our salads are designed and balanced for flavour as they are and are best enjoyed in their original form.
